Xaman is stephen saletta'S Jam Dj guise.  What is a "Jam DJ" you might ask?  A Jam Dj is a novel musical act involving looping, improvisation, and live instruments as opposed to spin tables and samples.  Think crystal method meets phish.  Sets are performed from scratch (so no rehearsal, all off-the-cuff) and improvised for the entirety of the set.  Xaman performs for sometimes an hour or more straight, with songs fading from one to the next.  Xaman means "north" in Mayan and is pronounced like "Shaman", which is also really what it means.  Below are many Xaman tracks from sets performed on StageIt, other live venues, and practice sets.  Enjoy.
