branches like bones
branches like bones
laid in wooden ribs
dry and broken trunk
as fissured nerves of spine
a fallen giant lays respited
stretched skeleton across the duff
now bones return to dust
as iron pines of rust
the sight of fractal patterned decompose
where cracks and gaps spread infinite
and how the creature lay
with nothing left but strength of bones
and myriad impressions of ganglia
as once before its senses
Good ideas that come to me
are not mine they are yours
because once they've come through you to me
they are connected even more
and the same it goes from you to them
beams of star lights from our eyes
the stellar dust that sparks again
rays of light from your mind's line time mine
